RAFIKI BUSH LODGE IS SITUATED IN THE GREATER KRUGER AREA WITH AN ABUNDANCE OF EXCURSION POSSIBILITIES OR ACTIVITIES INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE HOEDSPRUIT WILDLIFE ESTATE.
We can arrange for you your dream safari, for a day out to one of the many attractions in and around our lovely little town. You will be spoilt for choice with the many options which is sure to blow your mind.
The Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate also offer ample activities right on your doorstep. Arrange everything before your visit, or plan your itinerary with us while you stay at the lodge.
Alternatively, relax at the lodge with our collection of board games & reading material, lounge around the pool or simply enjoy nature's sounds with a crackling fire in the background.
The estate offers a few different routes to explore on foot. Maps of the routes are available on request. Become one with nature!
Bush Walks
Use one of our bicycles at the lodge to cover more ground in your exploration. Easy to challenging trails availalbe for the true adventurer.
Cycling / MTB Trails
We have rods for the fishermen amongst you. Only catch & release allowed.

So many beautiful spots to visit along some of the Cycling or Walking trails. Enquire about our picnic baskets with delicious treats to enjoy.

The Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre is a unique African wildlife facility focusing on conservation and the sustainability of rare, vulnerable and threatened species.
HESC
We are situated a mere 40 minutes drive from the Orpen Gate. Renowned for its abundant wildlife and Big 5 sightings. A must see - whether self drive or with an operator.
Kruger National Park
A unique experience to all nature enthusiasts. The centre rehabilitates injured animals and releases them back in the wild. Close encounters with Cheetahs & vultures to name a few.
Moholoholo Rehab
The Panorama Route is a scenic road connecting several cultural and natural points of interest. This route, steeped in the history has some of the most stunning views.

Hoedspruit has a few stables where you can ride horses through the bush. There is one in the estate and one at Zandspruit estate. A MUST for all horse lovers!
